Welfare Assistant/Teaching/Child Support

Overview

We are looking to appoint a Welfare Assistant to support the class teacher in the teaching and welfare of students to enable them to progress towards their individual targets. Welfare Assistants are required to tend to the personal hygiene or physical needs of students. A patient, tolerant, sympathetic, yet firm manner is essential. Good literacy, numeracy and organisational skills are important. The successful candidate must also be in sympathy with the Catholic Ethos and Mission of the school.

Salary & Benefits

Kent Range KSB (pro rata £10654 per annum)
Plus Welfare allowance of £668 pro rata per annum
18 hours per week
39 weeks per annum
